Mia’s presence at A Better World is such a blessing to the staff, volunteers, and her peers. Mia has been with the program for over 5 years and we have seen her growth physically and spiritually.When we met Mia she was very quiet and each time we saw her she would be behind the most recent Harry Potter Book. She is a devoted reader, one of the things we do not have to ask her to do.

A Better World provides many opportunities for volunteering. All areas of expertise are appreciated… from tutoring to devotions, and computer support to food. Being a non-profit organization, A Better World functions through the help of volunteers.

A Better World is a non-profit organization that reaches out to children and their families in the Ashley Park Community and the surrounding area to offer after school care, classes and training which will assist them in many areas of their lives. By enhancing the educational and spiritual growth of these individuals, they will strive to actualize their potential in marvelous ways.

A Better World offers services from Transportation to Professional Writting Classes

We have a mini-bus to transport students to and from A Better World who reside in the Ashley Park community and the surrounding areas.
